Week of the Forest, Flanders
Each year, the Week of the Forest provides an excellent opportunity for both young and old to discover the surprising scents and splendid colours of forests all over the world.
Within the framework of the International Year of the Forests and under the slogan ‘Bossen zonder grenzen’ (Forests without limits), this campaign puts the rich diversity of fauna and flora in Flemish forests and wildlife areas in the spotlight and asks attention for the importance of forests all over the world.
From 9 through 16 October, everyone is welcome to attend more than a hundred (bio)diverse activities, one even more beautiful than the other! More information and the entire program are available at: www.weekvanhetbos.be.
This event is organised by the Agency for Nature and Forests and the ngo Association for Forests in Flanders together with ngo Natuurpunt.
The Week of the Forest takes place from 9 through 16 October.
