The castle domain Coloma in Sint-Pieters-Leeuw takes great pride in its internationally renowned rose garden, the most extensive in Europe, featuring roses from 26 countries and representing more than 3,000 types and varieties. This splendid Rosarium attracts visitors from all over the world and has, since the construction of the original garden in 1995, grown into a hive of ceaseless international tourist activity.
In spite of its success, the Coloma Rosarium does not intend to merely rest on its laurels. The Agency for Nature and Forests – an agency of the Government of Flanders – which owns and administers the Coloma domain, is not satisfied with the Rosarium Coloma being just one amongst the many great rose gardens but wishes it to be indisputably recognized as a truly unique and outstanding creation.

With this in mind, the Agency for Nature and Forests, in collaboration with the Sint-Pieters-Leeuw municipality, is this year expanding the already popular Rose Days into a broader, creative and artistic context.
In follow-up on the successes of the past editions, and thanks to the unique collaboration of both these top artists, thousands of visitors are expected to flock to the Rose Days from 25 through 27 June 2011. Heartily welcome to Roses@Coloma!
